Safety Coordinator

From Presidential Decree 305/1996 onwards, the services of a Safety Coordinator are required in all technical projects. The Safety Coordinator undertakes the organization and coordination of the activities of all Project partners.

Their responsibilities involve creating a safe environment so as to to prevent accidents. In addition, they ensure smooth, proper and safe work in order to meet the work schedules and the budget of the project.

The Safety Coordinator draws, adapts or assigns the preparation of the and Health and Safety Plan and File (HSP-HSF). During the works, they supervise personnel training and inform the contractors and subcontractors on Health and Safety issues.

At times, the duties of the Safety Coordinator and the Safety Technician are combined as the Safety Coordinator services are required both on drawing the Project study and during its implementation.
